Hey FCA! January Highlights!

• This month we had social media influencer Juicy Jacob speak at Laguna Beach HS and San Clemente HS, which these are the last two schools of mine for Jacob to speak at. At Laguna Beach HS, we had an attendance of 180 kids and gave out 61 Bibles! And at San Clemente HS we had an attendance of 260 kids and gave out 80 BIBLES!! Praise God for the ways He worked so greatly at these huddles! I am almost certain 80 Bibles is the most Bibles EVER given out at a huddle! Please be praying 440 students who heard the Gospel and the 141 students who took Bibles that seeds were planted and that the Lord would grow these seeds into something beautiful!
• This month at Capistrano Valley Christian, we had guest speaker strength and conditioning coach Jake Gellatly come and share his moving testimony to 55 kids in attendance, praise God! Jake used his testimony to tie in how to grow closer to God and what action steps to take as individuals or as a community on what it looks like to grow closer with God!
• We had an amazing turnout at our pickleball tournament this month and so grateful for everyone who came out to support the ministry and help raise camp scholarships!

Here's what Hope had to say about how FCA has changer her life!

• As an athlete, how has FCA impacted your life on all levels?

"FCA has impacted my life in such amazing ways, especially with the community part of my life. Getting to lead with my friends and other people who love Jesus is so much fun, and it's honestly refreshing to have devoted time with these people who put a lot of work into creating a space of hospitality for our school!"

• Being involved with FCA, how has FCA impacted your time in high school?

"This is my second year apart of FCA and it has just been a joy to be apart of it. It's made me more outgoing and not afraid to talk with people about Jesus. Getting to know the guest speakers is so impactful because it's really hard to get up in front of a lot of high schoolers and be vulnerable enough to share how Jesus has changed your life, so those that come and do it have my full respect and support. And all that they share comes from a place of peace that only God can give, and it's just a fulfilling opportunity to see that in someone."

Upcoming FCA Tournaments!

Come and join FCA on April 20th at our Coastal Classic Golf Tournament at the Tijeras Creek Golf Club! Come out for a fun day of golf and quality time of fellowship with other golfers and FCA Staff. All funds will go to help support the Orange County FCA Staff!

Come and join FCA on March 21st at our next pickleball tournament at our Spring Pickleball Tournament at the Tustin Hills Racquet Club! Come out for some competitive or non-competitive pickleball and quality fellowship with other players and FCA Staff. All funds will go to help raise FCA Camp scholarships for students to go to FCA Camps!

Prayer Requests:

• For Hope, as she finishes out her senior year strong in school, volleyball, and FCA
• For the 440 students who heard the Gospel and 141 students who took Bibles this month and that seeds would be planted
• For our upcoming FCA tournaments and that the Lord would provide us with the funds that the ministry needs
• For increased attendance at huddles, as some schools have hit a plateau in attendance
