Safety Precautions Regarding Alligators in our Community | |

Over the past few weeks, there have been a couple of unfortunate encounters between unleashed pets and alligators in Sea Pines. We urge all Sea Pines property owners, visitors, and guests to take the time to review the guidelines below concerning alligator safety in Sea Pines.
Alligator safety is a community effort. While the Lowcountry’s landscape and habitats are special to Sea Pines’ property owners, visitors, and guests, there are dangers and responsibilities that accompany the privilege of living among nature. Sea Pines is a natural habitat for the American alligator. For this reason, all Sea Pines property owners must act with extreme caution and must ensure family members, guests, and visitors are informed and aware when outdoors. To report an aggressive or nuisance alligator, please immediately contact Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.

- Assume every body of water contains an alligator
- Stay at least 60 feet (4 car lengths) away from alligators
- Alligators are ambush predators and can move faster than you or your pets
- Keep yourself, pets and children away from water’s edge
- Swimming or wading is prohibited in Sea Pines’ waterways
- Feeding or harassing alligators is dangerous and illegal
- When fishing or crabbing do not throw used bait or fish parts into the water

Memorial Day Office Hours & Commercial Access Restriction | |

Memorial Day Office Hours for the Sea Pines CSA Admin Office, ARB & Sea Pines Community Center:
- Friday, May 24: Closing at 2:00 PM
- Monday, May 27: Closed
All other Sea Pines CSA offices will remain under normal operating hours.
Commercial Vendor Holiday Access Restriction on Memorial Day: Vehicles with commercial decals or commercial passes are not permitted in Sea Pines on Memorial Day. This restriction does not apply to pool companies, housekeeping, and deliveries to commercial entities. For emergency access for service providers on these holidays, please contact Sea Pines Security Dispatch at 843.671.7170.

Sea Pines Community Reminders | |
- Short-term renters and their guests are only permitted to park vehicles in the garage, carport or on the driveway of the rental property. Parking is not permitted on any landscaped surfaces including the front, back or side yards.

E-bikes, pedal-assist bikes, and motorized scooters are not permitted for use in Sea Pines. While using the leisure trails, be aware of vehicles. They are not required to stop while you are waiting to cross a roadway.
- Short-term renters, renting in Sea Pines are not permitted to bring in motor homes, travel trailers/ RVs, boats, personal watercraft, or jet-ski and ski-doos.
- Dogs must be restrained by a leash or fencing at all times and not allowed to bark for any duration that would disturb others.
- Household items, yard maintenance equipment, firewood and sports equipment must be stored out of public view when not actively in use. Temporary storage of bicycles in public view is permitted, if such bicycles are stored neatly, as far from the road as possible, and in a location that does not block walkways or create a safety hazard.
- Exterior lighting, especially lighting on automatic timers, may not be left on for extended periods, and/or after 10 PM. In no case shall they shine into a neighbor’s residence or property.
- Trash cans and recycling bins shall be kept in service yards at all times. Curbside trash pickup is not provided in Sea Pines.

Sea Pines CSA Annual Rental Registration Fee Invoiced on May 15th | |

The 2024 Annual Rental Registration Fee was invoiced on May 15, 2024, to Sea Pines Residential Property Owners who have their property registered with our Rental Registration Program, or their property is advertised on the internet as being available for rental purposes. Invoices were sent to the primary email address on record with Sea Pines CSA and mailed to those property owners who do not have a primary email address on file. Full payment of this fee is due by Monday, July 1, 2024.
The 2024 fee structure is as follows:
- 1 or 2 bedroom properties: $300
- 3 or 4 bedroom properties: $700
- 5 or more bedrooms: $1,000
This program and the associated annual fee went into effect on January 1, 2023, and has contributed to increasing and enhancing our security, maintenance, and community standards management services, the need for which is in large measure due to the number of Residential Properties being held for renting or leasing in Sea Pines. Beach Shuttle & Sea Pines Trolley Summer Schedule | |
Beach Shuttle Service Began Saturday, March 23rd: Beach shuttle service from Lot 8 (Located off Greenwood Drive between Fraser Circle and Willow Oak Road West) to The Sea Pines Beach Club is operating daily from 9 AM- 5 PM, weather permitting, through September 2, 2024.

Sea Pines Trolley Service Begins Friday, May 24th: Trolley Service to the Blue, Green, and Red Routes will operate with the following service times from May 24th-September 2nd:
- Blue Route: 9am - 10pm
- Green Route: 10am - 10pm
- Red Route: 4pm - 10pm
