"Suffering Servants" led by Pastor Brooks

Learn how the suffering servants are used throughout the Old and New Testaments to communicate the message of salvation. Discover how the lives of these suffering servants foreshadow the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ:

March 10: Chapter 5 - Chosen Leader (David)

A limited number of books are still available in the church office. Photocopies of lessons will be distributed in class. Suggested donation: $10

From Two to One

Beginning to offer one service only on Sundays was one of the topics discussed at last Sunday's meeting between services. At this Sunday's meeting, the Grace Advisory Board will discuss the schedule change likely to go into effect in late spring/early summer. The rationale for having one service is so that members can glorify God, give thanks, grow as disciples, and be inspired for action in a way that draws new disciples to follow Christ more fruitfully than having multiple services.

Just a Note from the Church Office: Church Office will be closed Friday (tomorrow) as Barb Tippin will be out of the office.

Lutherans For Life

Building on the recent LFL workshop, please respond to a brief survey regarding your preferences for areas of education and ministry to our vulnerable "neighbors." Responses will be used to form a ministry that best meets the needs of our congregation. Hard copies of the survey are also available in the Narthex. Return filled out copies to the church office.

God Calls Each Believer to a Life of Service

We are all servants with important kingdom work to do. Perhaps serving on the nominating committee or as a member of the Grace Advisory Board is something God's calling you to do? President, vice-president, and congregational representative will be elected at the May 5th voters meeting. Talk with Joe Milko either in person, E-mail, Joethomas444@gmail.com or phone 919-214-6527. Click here for additional information about these positions.

The Song of the Servant: Lessons for Walking the Way
