Fourth of July Weekend
Central Oregon is experiencing an influx of visitors here to enjoy the July 4th weekend, and getting outside is high on everyone's list! Whether you are heading to one of the many golf courses, mountain biking in the Cascade Mountains, or floating the Big Deschutes River, perfect conditions are forecasted. Where will you be this weekend?

When heading out to our great restaurants and breweries, remember to bring your mask, as Governor Kate Brown made masks a requirement indoors, effective today. Some establishments have face masks available, but many smaller businesses may not be able to provide one. Showing up prepared is appreciated by the staff of any company you frequent and takes some pressure off as we navigate our current environment.

Real Estate Planning and Preparation
By now, most people looking to buy or sell a home this summer are well aware of our low inventory and strong buyer demand . Sellers and buyers alike have concerns about COVID-19, but there are many ways I can help to mitigate the risk. My extensive online resources allow me to gather a tremendous amount of information about a home without leaving my desk! Those of you that have received my comprehensive property reports know first hand how much you can learn about a home without having to get in your car. 

Here are a few of the steps I take to keep buyers and sellers safe when seeing homes in person:

  • Please plan to drive in your vehicle as we tour homes.
  • Limit the number in your group and use video, pictures, etc. for the family that does not attend.
  • I have available: masks, gloves, shoe covers, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes.
  • Before viewing a home, I ask sellers to open all interior doors and turn lights on to minimize touching surfaces.

If you have health concerns that do not allow you to feel comfortable viewing a home in person, I will be happy to use all of the resources I have to create a comprehensive report. Creatively finding solutions to issues is part of the reason I love being in real estate! What can I do for you?
