The Westshore Alliance Annual Photo Contest for World Photography Day is Officially Open!

The third annual World Photography Day Photo Contest is now accepting submissions. The contest will run though July 31^st, with winners being announced on World Photography Day (August 19). Judges are looking for images that represent Westshore. 


Photographs must be taken within the Westshore District boundaries. Entrants may submit up to 5 images. The top three images will receive a cash prize, and the finalists will be included in a pop-up gallery this fall. For more details and to enter the contest:

Howard Frankland Bridge Trail & Express Lanes Are Open

During the last week of May, FDOT opened the shared use path and express lanes on Howard Frankland Bridge. The shared use path can be accessed from a trailhead on Reo Street and will take you across Tampa Bay to 4^th Street in St. Petersburg. Additionally, both the northbound and southbound express lanes have been opened. Please use caution with the new traffic patterns.    

Art in the Air Banners

Thirty-five colorful banners from the Art in the Air program have been installed on
