Upcoming Vision and Hearing Screenings - August 22 & August 23

Hello Students, Parents, and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you well as we embark on a new school year filled with learning and growth. We're excited to inform you about our upcoming vision and hearing screenings. These screenings play a crucial role in ensuring the overall well-being and academic success of your students.

How to Prepare:

  1. Wear Glasses or Hearing Aids: If your student already wears glasses or hearing aids, please ensure they wear them on the day of the screening.
  2. Explain the Process: Take a moment to explain the screenings to you student. Let them know that the screenings are easy and quick and are important to their studies.
  3. Sleep and Nutrition: Ensure your student gets a good night’s sleep and a nutrition breakfast on the screening day. This help them feel at their best during the process.

Why Vision and Hearing Screenings Matter:

Clear vision and proper hearing are essential for effective learning and development. Early detection of any vision or hearing concerns can lead to timely interventions and support for our students. These screenings are simple, non-invasive procedures that help us identify any potential issues that may impact your student's ability to fully engage in their education.

We greatly value the health and well-being of our students, and these screenings are an important step in ensuring their success

Kind Regards,

Brian Kornreich, BSBME, BSN, MS, RN
