TCA Environmental Committee Seminar: Pathway to Sustainability - Building to NetZero
|
|
On April 18, during Earth Week, the TCA environmental committee will launch its first seminar in our Pathway to Sustainability series. We will explore what “Building to Net Zero” means to the construction industry in the Greater Toronto Area. With buildings noted as contributing 58% to greenhouse gas emissions in 2019, plans are well underway to take us towards the net zero goals identified by the City of Toronto.
Our panelists will consist of a prominent Contractor, Architect, Subcontractor, and a member from the City of Toronto—all of whose actions are contributing significantly to the movement towards Net Zero.
Together they will explore where we are and what they are doing to facilitate the objectives identified in the City of Toronto’s Transform TO, Net Zero Existing Buildings Strategy, Net Zero Carbon Plan for City-owned buildings, and the updated Toronto Green Standard.
Be sure to register for free and don't miss out!
