Special Programming: Governor's 'State of the State' Address Traditionally, Oklahoma's governor opens each year's legislative session with a "state of the state" speech to both houses of the legislature. Gov. Kevin Stitt's annual address is set for Monday, Feb. 7. KGOU will air live coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m. with analysis from Capitol Insider hosts Dick Pryor and Shawn Ashley. New Selection for the KGOU Readers Club The KGOU Readers Club is back with a new selection! This time, News Managing Editor Logan Layden has chosen lighter fare (or not, depending on your devotion to OU football) with John Scott's biography of the football coach credited with starting the OU dynasty, Bud Wilkinson and the Rise of Oklahoma Football. Readers have time to get the book and read it and then get their questions ready and tune in as Logan interviews the author in a one-hour convening of the Readers Club on Monday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. Read more

Jad, Lulu and Latif

Jad Abumrad is leaving Radiolab Radiolab's co-creator and longtime co-host Jad Abumrad is stepping aside after 20 years. He's leaving the show (which airs Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings on KGOU) in the capable hands of a talented group of producers as well as co-hosts Lulu Miller and Latif Nasser. 'Tiny Desk Seeks Big Talent' - 2022 Contest Opens The Tiny Desk Contest is back for 2022, calling for entries from unsigned artists playing their original songs from any kind of desk they can think of.
