Inauguration Day

Thank You for Staying Engaged

January 15, 2025

Greetings, Good People!

Today is Inauguration Day in Jersey City, and I want to start with gratitude.

While in-person RSVPs are now closed, I’m thankful that social media and livestreaming allow everyone to still be part of this moment. Access matters — and the ability to watch, listen, and stay informed in real time is an important part of modern, participatory government.

Tonight, James Solomon will be sworn in as Mayor of Jersey City, and our new City Council will take the oath of office. If you’re unable to attend in person, I encourage you to watch the ceremony live on the City’s official Instagram and Facebook platforms and join us virtually as we begin this next chapter together.

Beyond tonight, participation doesn’t stop with one event. Staying engaged means continuing to ask questions, follow the issues, and take part in the conversations that shape our neighborhoods.

That’s why I invite you to stay connected with my office through ThePeoplesWardF.com, where you’ll find updates, resources, meeting information, and ways to remain involved in Ward F and citywide affairs.

I’m grateful for every resident who shows up — in person or online — and for the tools that help keep our government more open and accessible. Together, we’ll continue building a city where engagement is encouraged and local voices are heard.

Thank you for being part of it.

Continue to Be Great on Purpose!
