We just had a full moon... which was also a lunar eclipse... and now we are still in mercury retrograde-- things may feel a bit confusing... or maybe unsettled as we get our feet back on the ground. It has definitely been a rollercoaster during these past few weeks of eclipse energy.
What has been stirred up for you? What is present with you now... as we begin to move forward?
Mercury retrograde... may have us deep in contemplation... still struggling to get our bearings after the whirlwind of the eclipses.
Well this weekend is Mothers' Day... and we may all need a little mothering... compassion and love as we continue to discover who we are now.
About 5000 years ago... long time ago... the divine realm was regarded as The Great Mother. Thanks to Femininism pioneer archeologists, anthropologists and authors such as Marija Gimbutus, Anne Baring, Riane Esler, we have uncovered extensive documentation and discoveries attesting to the reality of Goddess and Woman centered (gynocentric) cultures. According to anthropologist and archeologist Marija Gimbutus, the Neolithic cultures were considered Goddess cultures, which were supplanted by the patriarchal culture (androcratic) of the Bronze Age. Anne Baring, Jungian Analyst and author, calls this time of Goddess culture- the era of Lunar Feminine, due to its association with the Feminine and the MOON. This Feminine Lunar culture can be traced back to at least 28,000 years ago... lasting upto about 5000 years ago.
So, upto 5000 years ago... we all related to the divine mysteries as Feminine... the whole cosmos was seen as a maternal being... and all of HER creation, directly HER children. We were all being held in the great Cosmic Womb, supported on all levels by the Great Mother. Now, in the last 5000 years, we have been disconnected from the Great Mother... we have been living under the Great Father... being indoctrinated with the belief that we are born from sin, the qualities of compassion, love, and sacredness being something outside of us and not readily available from the Father God, unless we follow the rules... or be good enough... something we have to earn rather than just being who we truly are- THE LOVE. The lack of Feminine values and qualities have a destroyed us. We have been severed from the LOVING MOTHER, and also from our own truth of LOVE consciousness that we are.
Without LOVE... we lead with wars, aggression, me over you, rather than with compassion, empathy and win/win approaches. The stripping of LOVE as our foundational realities has contributed to a world that is extremely painful and violent. The truth is that we are the LOVE.. in our Essence... but many of us are so far severed from the LOVE that they act without LOVE... and have also bought into the Feminine shaming and demonization --- so they see LOVE as weak, shameful, and believe that power comes from the opposite of LOVE.
But just imagine right now if you could sense the LOVE... all around you... how would it feel to know that LOVE is always surrounding you... we can see it in nature, in the trees, in the oceans, in the planet, in the air that we breathe.
Imagine that this LOVE... is not only surrounding you... but also within you... its is a field, a consciousness that gives birth to you... but that you are also part of and share with others. The LOVE you feel for your children, for your pets, maybe even for nature... are all the same field of LOVE that is part of who you truly are, as a Divine being.
So... realize that the LOVE is not others necessarily... you may share it with others... and they may spark it within you... and activate it... but it is part of your natural vibration- YOU are the LOVE>
And we need to activate the LOVE on the planet- which means activating it within ourselves-- so that we can save ourselves and the planet. The return of the Feminine and the Feminine Path is all about restoring the LOVE that has been severed- along with the other six, inherent Feminine qualities, within ourselves. After all, 'LOVE is all we need'- I think John Lennon said that!
So, this Mothers day... lets commit to activating the LOVE within ourselves-- the LOVE that cares-- the LOVE that nourishes and nurtures... that of a MOTHER's LOVE. Let's activate this LOVE within us-- by being kind to ourselves- dropping the judgements and the criticism for ourselves... and others... and really appreciating what is present! And by recommiting to LOVE - we become the Mothers of the planet- bringing back LOVE- sacredness to ourselves and the Earth.
In the Feminine Path- the Mother archetype correlates to the Heart Chakra-- and our inherent feminine qualities of Compassion, Love and Mercy. We all contain these qualities within us... and as we embrace our Feminine Sovereignty, we are able to embody these qualities within. It has been said that the path of awakening... is truly a path of mothering ourselves... reconnecting with the LOVE... especially in the places where we have shamed, blamed and made ourselves wrong. It is a path of RE-MOTHERING ourselves... of opening up the compassion to ourselves... as we grow and face challenges, as we break through the patterns of oppression, blame, unworthiness and the like that have been internalized within us... WE ARE THE LOVE.

Compassion-Mercy-Unconditonal Love
The Cosmic Womb Mother is the mother of all mothers and it is also the mothering, nurturing template within us. All of human creation has been born through a woman’s womb, therefore, the alchemical properties of manifesting life in physical form are part of the inherent birthing transformational dynamic of the womb. The Womb is not just the physical matrix of the uterus organ… but the energetic aspect of the ‘birthing manifesting’ Universal principle, we each carry.
Within the energetic womb… the qualities of infinite compassion are woven into the souls and essentially the bodies, of each generation. The light of compassion, nurturance and infinite Love is anchored in each physical manifestation, whether we are able to creatively express those qualities or not.
The Cosmic Womb Mother impregnates us with the divine qualities, or the non-dual qualities…
a bond so strong that it surpasses physical forms and lifetimes. A mother’s love is known to be the strongest bond of all… because our body and our mother’s body begin as one. As mothers,
we carry the ability to deeply feel what is happening to our offspring…
as if it were our own body… because essentially it is.
