Bellevue Giving Tree Gift Drive For the past 7 years, St. Luke's has partnered with Imagine Housing and 30Bellevue to bring joy to the children and youth during the holiday season by providing gifts to the children and teens living there. Last year, we helped provide 67 new toys for children under the age of 12 and 26 gift cards for teens between 13-8 years old. Behind every request for a toy or warm coat is a parent doing their best to make the holidays special despite ongoing challenges. Due to several factors, this year we expect the requests for help to increase; therefore, we are starting our donation requests early. Please help by donating to this ministry. We will use any funds donated now towards the Giving Tree in November. These funds are used to purchase gifts for children who receive few, if any, at Christmas time. Thank you. Please follow the link to our Tithe.ly Giving portal.

Thank You Election Workers
As elections approach this fall, consider sending a note of support and encouragement to those in your county who will receive and count ballots. Ballots are scheduled to arrive in mid-October, and election workers begin as soon as ballots arrive in county offices. Your congregation can write notes of gratitude and appreciation as this busy and stressful season begins, for those whose hard work often goes unnoticed. Find your county election office’s address here.

An Important Message and Request from OUR Camp Leadership:
Lutherwood Family: We need your support. 2026 was an AMAZING summer, and so many people experienced Grace at camp.
Unfortunately, our water system began to show its age, forcing Lutherwood to spend reserves to ensure clean water flowed. Now, we need your help meeting the gap in our unexpected expenses. Will you make a donation today to support camp and help us meet our goal of an additional $40,000?
Your generosity means Lutherwood continues to be critical faith infrastructure for the Pacific Northwest! Make a gift here: camplutherwood.org/give Play video below.

The Stewardship Giving Table!!! Let Your Creativity Flow! We love looking for gifts for the Fall and holiday season! Please consider bringing something that you have made with your own hands to share. It could be art, baked goods, carvings, candles, soap….or a gift of time to someone. Place it on our table, designated for our Stewardship gifts. This allows others to share our gifts with friends and family for the holidays. Thank you to those that have been brightening up the area with NEW ITEMS!!!
Did you know members can also create a delicious food item (main dish, dessert, side dish, treat etc.) for folks to prayerfully donate? Our members can obtain their food item with a donation earmarked to the Stewardship Giving Table. If you are willing to participate in this act of stewardship, contact the church office at worship@shlc.org today! If you are willing to obtain the food donation, go to the Narthex Giving Table to see what is available, then contact the donator of selected item(s) to make specific arrangements.
