A WORD FROM C WHITT

Dear C WHITT Subscriber,

Welcome to the month of May! "Chelsea you're everywhere!" is music to my ears, and it feels quite true!

The past few weeks have been non-stop! Every time I look back on our calendar of appearances, I am amazed and grateful for the variety of these opportunities.

Congratulations roll call:

• Travail With Us hosted two successful events including the Sickle Walk and Gala.
• Dr. Maya Dominique of Prenatal Well delivered a Women's Wellness Fair that was simply incredible.
• I popped in on the State of the City Address and got my "I Love Gary" fix! Big things poppin' in my city!
• NAACP Gary ACTSO students presented awesome performances during last week's auditions.
• Had a ball serving as a panelist at the Ironworkz Entrepreneurship SUMMIT. Well done, team!
• Woodland Child Development Center opened its doors to its Microsite in Gary!
• Urban League of NWI announced its DEI In action Luncheon Set for Nov. 18th.

Of course there is more I could add, but I would rather you scroll down for more exciting updates.

The month of May, which is Small Business Month, will be special! I already feel it! Today, I'll be at Vitamin T Fitness for the grand opening in "Southlake Mall" followed by Lyrics at the West Side Theater Guild featuring the Legendary Dr. Bernice King!

I can't wait to cover the Chicago Urban League's Policy SUMMIT - "State of Black Chicago" next week as well as the Black Chamber of Commerce of NWI mixer highlighting how to write business grants using AI!

Can't keep up? Don't worry! I have everything listed neatly below for you to read and share!

My most important appearance by far takes place May 15th! Happy early anniversary, Mr. Whittington! Sixteen years and counting!

Thanks for your support of our firm, and I will see you soon! - C WHITT
