Durham Regional Council wants to hear from you on Bill 100

Durham Region has directly elected its Regional Chair since 2014—providing residents with a clear voice in regional leadership and accountability. The proposed provincial legislation in Bill 100 could change how this position is filled in the future.

Durham Regional Council is asking residents to share their feedback on

Bill 100, Better Regional Governance Act, 2026, through a community engagement process, which will be summarized and shared with the Province of Ontario.

Visit durham.ca/Bill100 to participate in a brief survey.
