DACC Students and Families,
As the rain sets in this weekend, this is an excellent time to remind our student drivers of fall driver safety tips from Deputy Elverson:
Autumn is the season with a beautiful spectrum of colorful foliage. It is also a time for carving pumpkins, getting lost in corn mazes, cheering on your football team, and building bonfires. However, this time of the year can create unique dangers on the road due to increased traffic and weather conditions transitioning in the fall. Being prepared and adjusting your driving habits is essential for driving safely in the months to come. Read more in this printable driver safety tip flyer.

Updates to DACC's Parking Maps
|
|
You may have noticed the slight change to how were are operating our afternoon student dismissal when it comes to the flow of traffic on campus. In an attempt to improve safety and the flow of traffic here on DACC Campus, changes have been made.
We ask you to please familiarize yourself with this map and utilize the correct entrance/exit during dismissal. Thanks for your cooperation in helping ensure the safety of our students during this busy time of day.
New information you'll find on the map include:
- Parents picking up their students must enter the pick-up area using the access road off of Glenn Parkway, closest to the DACC Fire Grounds.
- Parents will be directed to exit campus going out the same way they entered.
- Students who park in our Primary Student lot “A”, will only be able to turn Right from our access Road heading South towards Peachblow Rd.
- The access road between lot “A” and Lot “E” will be closed to traffic from roughly 2:10 pm to 2:40 pm, to ease the flow of traffic.
- Student drivers may head towards parking lot “C”, and wait in line for the gate to be opened by DACC Staff, to then exit campus using Bus Alley, after the school buses have been released.
