John Takes us Behind the Scenes at Pella

What does it take to make a window truly stand up to the elements? John recently had the opportunity to find out firsthand during a visit to Pella’s headquarters in Iowa, where he got an inside look at the rigorous testing behind one of our trusted window partners. From extreme cold and scorching heat to 70-mph winds, driving rain, and even hurricane-force conditions, Pella puts its products through some seriously demanding real-world simulations. Seeing that level of craftsmanship and testing up close was an incredible experience - and a great reminder that quality is about far more than what you see. It’s about how a product performs when it matters most. That’s why we’re proud to recommend Pella windows to our clients as part of the thoughtful, high-quality remodeling experience Tabor is known for.

Project Spotlight: Shades of Blue Bethesda Kitchen

At the heart of this transformation is a kitchen designed to bring people together. Thoughtfully expanded and completely reimagined, the space now feels open, inviting, and effortlessly connected to the rest of the home. Custom cabinetry, a generous island, and a dedicated wet bar provide both beautiful form and everyday function. Quartz countertops, statement lighting, integrated appliances, and a distinctive tile backsplash add layers of character and polish. Beyond the kitchen, the expanded layout creates a natural flow into the new family room and outdoor living spaces, making it a place that feels just as right for everyday family life as it does for entertaining. You'll want to see all the details of this new space!
