Greetings City of La Cañada Flintridge residents,

Happy New Year! We hope you had a safe and restful holiday season. Our staff is ready to provide the community with new programs and updates to our existing initiatives to start 2024 off strong.

With the new year comes a new path to Cherry Canyon, a public procurement update and a reminder about our list of business solicitations. We encourage you to make it your New Year's resolution to prioritize home safety and emergency preparedness efforts to protect your families from harm.

As always, should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us via phone, email or by visiting City Hall.

With Deep Gratitude,

Sister Cites Friendship Path

The City of La Cañada Flintridge is pleased to announce that construction has begun on its Sister Cites Friendship Path, funded by the Regional Park and Open Space District (RPOSD).

An alternate route to the Descanso Trail entrance into Cherry Canyon will be converted into a new, approximately 1,600-foot-long path and named Sister Cites Friendship Path in honor of the existing relationship with LCF’s sister city, Villanueva de la Cañada, Spain.

Construction is set to be completed in late February. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/48s1yto
