From Your Administrative Team

Hello Da Vinci Connect Families,

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander month! We would like to start the celebration by encouraging everyone to visit the book fair, which has wonderful AAPI representation! See the below blurb for details.

The time has finally come! Our WASC visit is scheduled for Sunday May 5-Wednesday May 7! This is the final step in our WASC re-accreditation process, and is very important! We have provided students variations of THIS slide deck to help prepare, and you can browse THIS executive summary to learn more for yourself.

Please complete our Spring Parent Survey (students Cores 3-5 will have an opportunity to take the survey on campus)--we would be so grateful for any time you can spend on this Organization-wide survey that allows us to reflect on our practices and make improvements to our programs! Thank you in advance for your time and thoughtfulness!

Enjoy Your Weekend,

Kaitlin (she/her) and Robin (she/her)

State Testing Update

Help us meet our required 95% participation rate!

To Accommodate our WASC visit schedule, we have re-arranged the Physical Fitness Test--please see the updated testing schedule HERE. If your child has been absent during testing, please know that we will need to coordinate make up testing. Be on the lookout for more details so that we can fulfill this state requirement.

Odyssey of the Mind!

Did you hear? This year, Da Vinci had 6 Odyssey of the Mind teams shine at the regional competition, 4 rock at the state level, and 2 teams now headed all the way to the World Championship at the University of Iowa to compete with kids from Poland, South Korea, Canada, Mexico, and all over the world! Now onto the next impossible of fundraising for all 14 state champions and accompanying chaperones to equitably finance registration, transportation, and accommodations in just a few short weeks. Impossible? Not with you on our team 🙂
