Capitol Hill Veteran Jamie Robinette Joins WSW as Senior Principal

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Winning Strategies Washington (WSW) is pleased to announce that Jamie Robinette, a Capitol Hill veteran of 25 years, has joined the firm as a Senior Principal. In this role, she will strengthen and expand service offerings, including meeting client needs in tax, trade, transportation, and health care. She will also lead the firm’s efforts to expand its presence in the state of Florida.

Over the course of her career, Jamie has served in a variety of policy and management roles for several key Members of the U.S. House of Representatives including Reps. John Culberson (R-TX), Ross Spano (R-FL), Neal Dunn (R-FL), Ann Wagner (R-MO), and Aaron Bean (R-FL). She is known for facilitating constructive conversation, building coalitions and meaningful relationships, and mentoring young professionals. In addition to her strong network on Capitol Hill, Jamie brings relationships throughout the Trump Administration, including at the White House and across various agencies.

In her most recent role as Chief of Staff to Rep. Bean, she was instrumental in establishing his congressional operation in Florida and Washington, D.C., and developing and executing strategies to dramatically increase Rep. Bean’s political and legislative profile.

Jamie helped Bean secure a spot on the influential Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and negotiated a subcommittee chairmanship for him on the Education and Workforce Committee, which is a rare position for an incoming Member. She also oversaw the Congressman’s agenda related to the Highway, Federal Aviation Administration, Water Resources Development and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act reauthorizations.

Jamie then successfully engineered a strategy to place Rep. Bean on the prestigious Ways and Means Committee in late 2024. This timing was especially important since the committee was beginning to draft the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. As Chief of Staff, Jamie met with key stakeholders and national industries on various tax implications, and she advised Bean throughout the complex reconciliation process used to pass the legislation.

“The U.S. House is the heartbeat of our American Republic, and I am fortunate to have worked with exceptional leaders to solve some of our country’s many challenges,” Jamie said. “My career has been built on customer service, and the legislative institution taught me how to serve others with compassion and grace. Joining a firm with the motto ‘We help make the good happen’ is a natural transition for me, and I will bring this same service-oriented commitment to our clients.”

“Jamie is a proven strategist, trusted advisor, and coalition builder with an exceptional record of helping Members of Congress navigate some of Washington’s most complex challenges to advance their legislative agendas and political standing,” said Mike Merola, Managing Partner of the firm. “Her experience, insight, relationships and commitment to service will strengthen our team and deliver even greater value to our clients. We are proud to welcome her to Winning Strategies Washington as we continue to make the good happen.”
