Celebrating Self-Expression and Creativity with Deckers

In honor of Art of Kindness Week, Deckers hosted a UGG shoe customization workshop for girls at Bret Harte Preparatory Middle School.

Each girl received a pair of UGG Classic Micro Boots, a HOKA bag, and materials like ribbons, rhinestones and charms to design shoes that reflected their unique personalities. Through this hands-on experience, girls embraced creativity, expressed themselves, and saw what it feels like to bring their own ideas to life. 

We're grateful to Deckers for this special experience and their generous support of Girls Inc. LA.

Fragrance Creation with

Summer Fridays

To celebrate the launch of their new fragrance, Summer Fridays hosted a build-your-own fragrance workshop for girls at Bret Harte Preparatory Middle School. Using the fragrance pyramid as a guide, girls explored how scent notes are layered before creating their own signature fragrance.

We're excited to continue our amazing partnership with Summer Fridays this summer to connect girls to mentorship, career exposure and behind-the-scenes learning experiences.

Children's Day Festival at Stoner Avenue Elementary

We joined Stoner Avenue Elementary School for their Día del Niño Festival, a joyful day of music, games and celebration for students. Corporate volunteers from First Bank, Farmers Insurance, Armadillo and Fremantle helped us bring the event to life by running carnival-style booths and activities. 

Moments like these reflect the power of our school partnerships and the many ways companies can engage directly with our girls and communities.
