It remains a key focus of MFGA to lift our farms and farmers to the front of every on-farm resilience conversation, especially with an accelerating domestic focus.
Our MFGA farmers and network contribute to every commodity they farm and, via that, to Canada's GDP.
However, on top of that, with their attention to soil, water, biodiversity, natural areas and the potential of helping buffer a changing climate with more intense events, we see great resilience values in how our MFGA farmers are farming for their farms, municipality, region, province and Canada.
And, our timing for this large lift, is now.
One key to advancing the conversations, projects and potential of regen ag is farmers talking with farmers, networking and sharing what worked, why it worked and why it didn’t and how it was adapted or could be helped.
Our MFGA job is taking those conversations forward, complete with storylines, opportunities and potential to fit every domestic resilience dialogue on major issues such as increasing extreme climatic events, declining bird abundance and water resources, and the need for grassland retention and soil health focus.
For anyone wondering or wanting to learn more about regenerative agriculture as told by farmer keynotes and industry experts and fortified by an entire trade show of experts and networking among farmers and peers throughout the day and half event, there is no better opportunity than the 9th annual MFGA Regen Ag Conference
November 9-10, 2026 at the Victoria Inn Conference Center in Brandon.
When it comes to regen ag focused conferences, our annual event stands among a handful (looking at you SaskSoil, Western Canada Conference on Soil Health & Grazing , and Holistic Management Canada) of the nation’s leaders, right at the front of the regen ag conference parade.
Right here in Friendly Manitoba.
Please consider this your personal invite from MFGA to attend our event.
It will be great to see you there! Get your motor going, Early bird has been extended to October 20, register now at mfga.net
