Word from our CEO

"Summer has a way of bringing people together. We gather around backyard barbecues, enjoy time with family and friends, and make memories that remind us what really matters. Before we know it, fall will be here and with it, one of my favourite times of the year: the Multiple Myeloma March season."

Taking It Step by Step: New Checklists for the Road Ahead

Living with multiple myeloma can involve many decisions, treatments and life changes, but education and planning can help decrease uncertainty and anxiety. It can also improve your ability to communicate with your loved ones and healthcare team. It can also help to ensure that your wishes and priorities are understood. To help guide planning and preparation throughout various stages, we’ve developed a series of practical checklists.

Spotlight on Jasmine Way

My name is Jasmine. I'm 19 years old and I'm from Corner Brook, Newfoundland. I have a younger sister, Jade, and my mom, Lynn. I'm going into my second year at Queen's University studying health science, and I hope to pursue medicine in the future. I love spending time outdoors in our cabin in the summer, hunting in the fall, and skiing in the winter. My dad, Monty, was an amazing man. He would do anything for anyone. He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2018 at just 47 years old.

Video of the Month:

Understanding Immunoglobulin Therapy in Myeloma

Learn about immunoglobulin (IG) therapy and why it may be an important part of care for people living with myeloma, especially when it comes to preventing infections and supporting the immune system. The webinar will cover how IG therapy works in the body and provide an overview of this supportive treatment. It will also review how IG therapy is given, including intravenous (IVIG) and subcutaneous (SCIG) options, and share information about how people can access this treatment.
