Looking Ahead, Giving Back,

and Remembering

Fall is a season of reflection, gratitude, and new beginnings, and this edition of the Pulse brings all three together. As we welcome our 2026–2027 PFEW Student Ambassadors and share new opportunities to support our programs, we also pause to remember former FFEE President John Trombetta, whose leadership, dedication, and passion for our mission helped shape the organization we are today.

Looking ahead also reminds us of the people who have brought us this far. From the volunteers and donors who give so generously to the leaders who have helped build our legacy, each has played a meaningful role in opening doors for Pennsylvania's young people. We're grateful for the memories, the friendships, and the continued support that make FFEE so special. Thank you for being part of our story and helping us create opportunities for generations to come.

Sincerely,

The FFEE Staff

Every student deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, build confidence, and envision a future filled with possibilities. Through Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week, The Stock Market Game™, and our Speaker Series, we're giving young people experiences that go beyond the classroom and help prepare them for college, careers, and life.

But these opportunities only happen with you. Your generosity helps turn possibilities into opportunities and gives Pennsylvania students the tools, skills, and confidence to pursue their dreams. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of the young people we serve.

Together, we can continue opening doors, inspiring futures, and investing in the next generation of Pennsylvania's leaders.

Meet Our 2026–2027

PFEW Student Ambassadors!

We're excited to introduce our 103 PFEW Student Ambassadors for the 2026–2027 school year, the largest group since the program launched in 2018! These enthusiastic PFEW graduates are ready to share their experiences and inspire more students to discover all that PFEW has to offer.

Throughout the year, our ambassadors will promote PFEW in their schools and communities, encourage their peers to participate, and represent the program at events across Pennsylvania. Their firsthand stories offer a powerful glimpse into the friendships, confidence, and skills students gain during their week at PFEW.

We're proud to see our graduates continue their involvement with PFEW and share their enthusiasm with others. Congratulations to this year's Student Ambassadors!

Thank you for your commitment to helping more Pennsylvania students experience all that PFEW has to offer!

SMG Is Breaking Records

We're off to an incredible start! The Stock Market Game™ (SMG) has reached a record-breaking 5,080 registrations for our Fall and Year-Long sessions combined! We're thrilled to see so many Pennsylvania students and educators embracing the opportunity to bring financial education to life.

Through SMG, students become investors as they manage a virtual $100,000 portfolio, research companies, analyze market trends, and make real-world financial decisions. Along the way, they're building critical thinking, teamwork, and financial literacy skills that will benefit them long beyond the classroom.

And the best part? There's still time to join!

Whether you're a returning teacher or new to SMG, we invite you to be part of this exciting year and help us reach even more students across Pennsylvania.

Remembering John Trombetta

This past weekend, family, friends, and loved ones gathered to celebrate the life of John Trombetta, former President of FFEE. John's dedication, leadership, and passion for preparing Pennsylvania's young people for their futures left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire our work today.

For those who were unable to attend, we invite you to view the recording of John's funeral service as we remember and honor a remarkable man who meant so much to the FFEE family.
