Call to Action: SB114: NP/MD Ratio Bill
Senate Bill 114 - CHANGE IN NP to MD RATIO
Please spread the word that SB 114  PASSED  the Senate Health Committee unopposed . The bill called for a relaxation of the MD:NP Ratio from 1:4 FTEs to 1:9 FTEs. Yes, we had to compromise, but we knew that we would  NOT  see the bill progress through the Senate Health Committee (step 1) without this compromise.

Now onto the hard work!   Emails/phone calls and  GOING TO MONTGOMERY  to walk the halls to meet and greet the Senator's are essential steps for this legislation to move through the Senate in a timely manner.

One Senator stated, "I've gotten 600 emails from persons supporting the bill!" We need every Senator to say that!

NPAA is asking that you contact your state Senators by phone and email to support SB114. Here are some talking points to discuss with your state representative.
Please pass this message on to your family, friends and health care provider friends.  If you have question call  D'Ann Somerall, President NPAA  at 205-902-0078 or email at  president@npalliancealabama.org
We need to flood these offices with emails and voicemails.
What to Do:
