July 15, 2026

Dear Parents and Students,

It is our pleasure to welcome you back to St. Pius X for the 2026-2027 school year!

The 2026-2027 St. Pius X Student Handbook is now available in Canvas on the Campus Life Pages. Changes and additions have been highlighted in yellow. In the next few weeks, please take some time to review the handbook, which includes updated policies in regards to tardiness, attendance, student IDs, and Catholic Social Teaching Hours (formerly Works of Mercy).

Action Required: Digital Signatures

Per Archdiocesan policy, both parents and students must separately sign the exact same acknowledgment forms. Because these require individual e-signatures, you cannot sign for your student, and they cannot sign for you. Please complete this process via PowerSchool and eCollect by Friday, August 7. You can find detailed access directions here.

The 4 Forms Requiring Dual Signatures:

  1. Substance Abuse Policy Acknowledgment
  2. Substance Abuse Policy Consent and Release
  3. Student Handbook Acknowledgment
  4. Student AI Usage Policy

If you have any questions, please contact Marsha Free at mfree@spx.org.

Paper Form Required: Media Release

The Media Release form cannot be signed digitally. Your student will bring a physical copy of this form home on the first day of school. Please sign the paper copy and have your student return it to school by Monday, August 10.

What You Need to Know: The First Day of School!

We look forward to welcoming our freshmen and new upperclassmen to campus for a full day of orientation and fellowship on Tuesday, August 4, from 8:00-3:00. The first day of classes for all Golden Lions is Wednesday, August 5, from 8:00-3:00. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!
