This past month the JCC's Capital Campaign, to invest $6.5 million in much needed facility updates and improvements to meet the growing needs of our local community, launched. With the Gordon JCC being home to BBYO, Maccabi and other Teen Programming, it is important to layer in what our role in this community campaign is in this year’s J-Serve project. On April 11, our teens will meet to work on One of the big missions that the campaign has, to "Beautify our space through enhancements and efficiencies".
Some (but not all) projects that teens can contribute towards;
- Building a low ropes course on-site for team-building
- Cleaning/weeding all outdoor playgrounds
- Designing new camp signs for outdoor locations
- Working on the front/community garden
Open to ALL 6th-12th graders, FREE shirt, FREE shaved ice, community service hours and FRIENDS.
