2025-26 Mainstage Performances Sneak Peak

Since 2013 the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre has established itself as the premier cultural and performing arts venue in northern Wake County – and beyond. Here’s a sneak peek at our upcoming season.

The Centre kicks off the season in September with former undercover FBI operative, keynote speaker, and NY Times best-selling author, Tamer Elnoury. Also taking the stage in September will be North Wake Theatre with their production of "The Marvelous Wonderettes."

We’ll jazz things up in October with "Some Enchanted Evening" and in February you’ll enjoy an unforgettable evening with Shana Tucker as she honors jazz legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Sarah Vaughan in "Sirens of Song."

In November we welcome everybody’s favorite siblings, "The Malpass Brothers."

In December, we celebrate the season with a Wake Forest holiday tradition, "The Celtic Angels Christmas." They'll be joined by the Angel Dancers and the Trinity Band Ensemble.

We love the families that visit the Renaissance Centre, so we’re presenting two family-friendly performances this season. "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" will take you on a magical journey to Narnia in December and you will be amazed by "The Magic of Jeki Yoo" in January.

The Wake Forest Film Festival continues to grow and offers first-rate films by many of today's most promising and accomplished local, national, and international filmmakers.

The Centre will close the 2025/2026 season with "Shadows of the 60’s: A Tribute to Motown." You will be dancing in the aisle as the cast brings the magic of the Motor City center stage.

If you’re familiar with the Renaissance Centre, then you know that most of our Main Stage Performances sell out - many within a few hours of tickets going on sale. Tickets for the Main Stage performances go on sale to the public on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m. Our Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase their tickets seven days earlier on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m., while our Friends of the Centre can purchase theirs on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m.

Be Our Friend

Do you want to know the secret to being first in line for ticket sales? Become a Friend of the Centre today!

The Renaissance Centre offers two Friends of the Centre membership levels. The Friends of the Centre level is a $100 donation, while the Patron level is $250.

Your tax-deductible donation will allow you to purchase up to four tickets before they go on sale to the public. This will give you the opportunity to claim the best seats for upcoming performances that offer reserved seating.

In addition, your name will be displayed as a member of the Friends of the Centre on the Renaissance Centre website and on the screen prior to Main Stage performances.

But that's not all!

Camps

Summer Stage Camp

Have your camper be a part of a fully-produced, live musical theater performance of Seussical Jr. with North Wake Theatre at the Renaissance Centre! Your student will spend two weeks learning songs, choreography, and blocking. Then, it’s curtain up! Family and friends will get to enjoy the performance on the last Friday evening of camp! Your student won't want to miss this opportunity!

Mon-Fri | Jul 28-Aug 8 | 9 am-3 pm | Grades K-8 | $700 *discount additional student(s) from same family

Instructor: North Wake Theatre

Art Camp: Paper Pulp Painting

Papermaking has been around for millennia. The process involves breaking down fibers into water to form a pulp. This can be colored in many different ways and used to make paper or paper-cast sculptures. Students will learn how to make paper pulp. They will use this product to transform their drawings into colorful paper creations. Additionally, they will learn how to cast paper pulp to make small sculptures. This is a unique experience not taught in most general education classrooms. If your student enjoys tactile experiences, this is the art camp for them. Final products will be frameable.

Mon-Thu | Jul 28-31 | 9 am-Noon | Ages 10-17 | $250 (materials included)

Instructor: Sara Roberts
