The Hold Steady have announced Philadelphia as the first stop of their Constructive Summer 2025 – the band’s first full weekend of shows in the City of Brotherly Love since 2018. The three-night event will kick off with an intimate rock show at The Foundry on Thursday, June 26 before moving next door to Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28. The weekend – which will also celebrate the birthdays of THS guitarists Tad Kubler and Steve Selvidge – includes a Friday Pub Quiz and on Saturday a Soundcheck/Happy Hour for fans, featuring live run-throughs of songs, audience Q&A, group photo, and more, all while enjoying pre-show refreshments.
Tickets for all three shows are on sale now. Tickets for the Friday Pub Quiz are limited and can be purchased with a Friday show ticket and Saturday Soundcheck/Happy Hour can be purchased with that night’s individual ticket. In addition, an exclusive Constructive Summer 2025 merch bundle – featuring event poster, tote bag, keychain, and drink koozie – can be purchased as an add-on with any ticket. “We’re always excited to visit our friendly friends in Philly and playing a weekend of shows there for the first time in 8 years feels a bit overdue,” says The Hold Steady’s Craig Finn.
