PPOA Unit 612 Negotiations Team Reaches Tentative Agreement
After a full day of salary contract bargaining with County executives on Thursday (and more than 15 rounds of negotiations since November 2021) the PPOA Unit 612 negotiations team announced that a tentative agreement has been reached on a successor contract. PPOA members in Unit 612 received an email with terms and details of the tentative agreement on Thursday evening.

The current current contract for Sergeants and Lieutenants from the Sheriff's Department and District Attorney's Office expired on January 31, 2022.
Due to a perfect storm of challenges (COVID-19, defunding, County politics, etc.) these negotiations have been more protracted and complicated than in the past. The negotiations team is thankful to Unit 612 members for their support and understanding.
