🎉 Happy Anniversary, AOG! Look How Far We've Come! 🎉

🌟 A Fresh Look — Say hello to our revamped AOG logo! Designed with accessibility, community, and style in mind, our new look reflects who we are now: bold, united, and unapologetically neurodivergent.
🛍️ Merch Madness Has Arrived — Our AOG Merch Store is live! Get your hands on new shirts, totes, and gear featuring our refreshed logo and limited-edition Pride Month designs by queer Autistic artists and others. Every purchase supports our programs and helps spread the word: we’re here, we’re neurospicy, and we’re fabulous.
✨ Join the Movement — Now’s the perfect time to officially join AOG as a member! For just $15/month or $150/year, you’ll gain access to exclusive benefits — all while supporting Autistic-led advocacy and leadership.
Together, we’re building something powerful. Thanks for being part of it.

I found AOG about a year ago when I was looking for connection. As an autistic adult living in Canada, it was hard for me to find a space where I could just be myself—where I didn’t have to mask or explain everything. When I joined the Zoom group, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but what I found was a space full of people sharing openly, listening deeply, and showing up with real presence.
Hearing others talk about their lived experiences helped me better understand my own, and over time, I felt more grounded and more motivated to share what I’ve learned from my own life. I’ve worked in theatre for over a decade as a stage manager, often acting as a bridge between people who think and communicate in very different ways.

Being part of AOG gave me a place to bring that part of myself—to contribute, to listen, and to feel connected. It became something steady for me during unstable times, and I’m really grateful for that. I hope others like me can find something similar, because we all deserve spaces where we’re understood, supported, and seen.

🎉 AOG Board Awards🎉
Because nothing says “we love you” like semi-made-up titles and newsletter-level fame.
This month, we’re not just celebrating another orbit around the sun for Autism On The Go—we're throwing confetti (and maybe a few sensory-friendly streamers) at some of the incredible folks on our board who have kept the chaos organized and the vibes immaculate all year long.
| | |
🌟 The Relentless Reformer Award goes to Winter, our indomitable board president, who somehow manages to lead with grace, grit, and a helpful tool for everything. Her drive to expand and improve AOG is the reason we’re not just a group, we’re a movement. She’s also incredibly patient with our Executive Director’s chaos, which deserves a medal—or at least a good bottle of wine.
| | |
🎭 The Viciously Venomous Visionary Award goes to Owen, the mind behind Bad Anon and Drawn Together. His creativity comes with bite, shaped by hard-earned truths and sharp insight. Owen channels tough feelings into community growth, acceptance, and art—and still somehow finds time to show up with thoughtful ideas, fierce support, and exactly the kind of leadership that makes AOG what it is: real, raw, and relentlessly evolving.
| | 🌈 The Queerly Beloved Award goes to Suzi, who stepped up to run our LGBTQIA2S+ Autistic Group and is jumping into the secretary role. Minutes? Check. Agendas? Double check. General lifesaving help? You bet. | | 💫 The Consistent Brilliance Award goes to Rosanna, whose reliability and absolutely stunning contributions show up at every turn. She’s the one who’ll drop a wisdom bomb in a meeting and leave the rest of us blinking like, “Damn, yes.” | | |
🦸♀️ The Supah-Sidekick Award (cape optional) goes to Netta, who co-runs our BIPOC group, tackles special projects like a champ, and wrangles humans with the precision of someone who deserves their own theme song.
💻 Special Shoutouts to Amy and Ash, our behind-the-scenes web wizards, for helping make our digital home such a success.
And of course, THANK YOU to all our board members who show up, speak up, and build this thing with us. We’re a board by and for Autistic and other neurodivergent people. And guess what? There’s always room for more heroes, helpers, quiet doers, big dreamers, and oddballs of all kinds.
💥 Wanna be one of us? Reach out today to see how you too can find your space, your spark, and maybe even your own ridiculous award next year.

🎤 Hear From Each Other – Featuring Martina Kuzenski
🗓️ June 24 · 7 PM ET · Virtual | Register Now
Known in AOG spaces as “The Axe Queen,” Martina Kuzenski brings sharp insight and fearless honesty to everything she does—including axe throwing.
Martina is a late-diagnosed Autistic woman who discovered her diagnosis at age 28 while finishing her Master’s program. Now on her way to a PhD in Information Technology, she works as an IT Specialist and is a dedicated mentor and community voice. She’s mentored students through the P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) program and co-authored the best-selling book Ladies in Tech: Sharing Expertise for a Successful Career.
At this month’s Hear From Each Other, Martina will share her journey through diagnosis, tech, self-discovery, and what it means to carve out your own path—even when the world doesn’t hand you a roadmap.
🧠 About Hear From Each Other

Autistic Leaders Program
🌟Calling All Autistic Leaders and Supporters🌟
Join the Autistic Leaders Program!
Autism On The Go is proud to announce the Autistic Leaders Program, designed by and for Autistic people. This is more than just a program—it's a movement to empower Autistic adults to step into leadership roles, strengthen our community, and create meaningful change.
We know that Autistics thrive when systems are designed to fit us, not the other way around. That's why this program is built on neurosensitive, non-punitive, and inclusive principles.
Program Highlights:
✅ Skill-building & personal growth
✅ Leadership opportunities across AOG’s programs
✅ Mentorship & peer support
✅ Space to design and lead your own community projects
✅ Continuous feedback and participant-driven evolution
Whether you want to step into leadership, share your lived experience, or help shape a more inclusive future for our community — we want you involved!
🌱 Why?
Autistics are too often left out of leadership and growth opportunities. We're changing that—together.
