Do you remember a time when your child came home glowing because a teacher had gone out of their way to help them achieve something extraordinary? How about when you were completely at a loss with a situation, and a staff member took the time to walk you through it? Is there a certain teacher or staff member who stands out in your mind as truly unmatched? Nominate them for a 2025 Apple Award HERE!

NOMINATE NOW THROUGH NOVEMBER 11TH!

The Foundation for Douglas County Schools continues it's tradition of honoring exceptional educators and staff who are inspiring a love of learning in students and are trailblazing extraordinary innovation in our schools. The annual Apple Awards brings in thousands of nominations every year for teachers and staff members across the district. The event will take place Saturday, March 29, 2025 at DCSD's Legacy Campus.

Interested in Becoming a Sponsor?

The Apple Awards showcase the achievements and dedication of Douglas County School District educators and staff. All Apple Awards sponsorships offer our community the opportunity to support the great work of our teachers and the 68,000+ students that walk our halls each day.

As an Apple Awards sponsor, you'll reach all of the district's decision-makers gathered in one place. Your support underwrites the participation of the teachers and staff being honored at this exclusive DCSD event, and facilitates appreciation and recognition of their hard work. The Foundation for Douglas County Schools is proud to present the 12th annual 8th Grade Career Expo at the DCSD Legacy Campus on Friday, November 22, 2024. Our DCSD 8th Grade students will have the opportunity to visit with over 40+ employers and explore possible career pathways by asking questions, experiencing hands-on demonstrations and discovering possible career opportunities. This discovery will continue into their high school experience. We are excited to host this year's Career Expo at the DCSD Legacy Campus as this year's 8th graders will also have the opportunity to enroll and graduate prepared for careers in rapidly growing industries such as in-demand Career and Technical Education (CTE), Concurrent Enrollment (CE), and more!
