Meet Another Trooper

Hello! My name is Kelly Coonrod, and I was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. My interest in the Hospitality Industry stems from my love for traveling and creating memorable experiences with new people. In the Spring of 2020, I received my undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida State University. My experiences at FSU opened my eyes to how much the industry has to offer, which fueled my passion for learning more.

Furthering my education, I attend Boston University’s School of Hospitality Administration, where I received my master’s degree in Hospitality Management. As a student, I developed an interest in event planning and started to consider it as a potential career path. To expand my knowledge of this industry, I enrolled in a class called Meeting Planning and Special Events Management, which Joanne Dennison taught. Little did I know just how much I would enjoy taking this class. Joanne is such a fantastic professor who truly cares for each of her students. I feel honored to have had her as a professor, and I know there is still so much I am going to learn from her!

You do NOT have to sit for the exam again---unless you don’t recertify in time. You have till December 31, 2021
