It's hard to believe that July is already here! There is still plenty of action happening for the rest of the summer, but in case you haven't heard, I have some exciting news of my own.... I'm getting married (on August 6th)!!
This impacts you just slightly:
- I will be out of the office from Monday, August 1st until Tuesday, August 9th. Our goal is to have part-time coverage during that week to stay caught up on phone calls, emails, event registrations, etc. However, we are playing that a little bit by ear at this time and will provide an update as it gets closer.
- FYI - When I return, my last name will be Hansen, so don't panic if you don't recognize it. My email address will remain the same, info@ioniachamber.net

Chamber Board of Directors - Open Position
There have been a few changes in our current Board of Directors:

After many years of service and 10 years of leadership as the President of the IACC, we are sad to announce the resignation of Steve O'Mara from our leadership team. After everything Steve has done for our organization over the years, we think having some time to focus on other priorities is very well deserved. We already miss him greatly and want to say THANK YOU for all of your years of dedication and service, we wouldn't be where we are without you!

In Accordance with our by-laws, the board of directors have appointed Abby Stalker, Talent Solutions Manager at West Michigan Works! to the vacant position created by Steve's resignation. Abby has been a Director at Large for a couple of years (one year term) and we are so excited to welcome her to fill the remainder of Steve's 3-year term expiring on December 31st, 2024. Congratulations Abby!!
