The Countdown to Excellence: Join Us October 24

for a Night to Remember

October is shaping up to be an exciting month for the Asian Chamber, and I couldn't be more proud of the momentum we're building together!

First, I want to thank everyone who helped make our October 2nd Business Conference & Expo a success. With approximately 100 attendees and more than 40 exhibitors, the event brought together entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and community partners for a valuable day of learning, networking and opportunity. We also had the pleasure of celebrating our 2026 Rising 10 Award recipients—outstanding Asian-owned businesses whose growth and achievements reflect the entrepreneurial spirit that makes Houston's business community so special.

Now, we're turning our attention to one of the most anticipated evenings of the year—our 2026 Spirit of Entrepreneurship Awards on Saturday, October 24!

In just nine days, we'll gather to recognize exceptional entrepreneurs, businesses, corporate champions and community leaders who are making a difference across Greater Houston. This is more than an awards celebration. It's an opportunity to honor the people whose vision, determination and leadership are strengthening our economy and opening doors for others.

For more than 36 years, the Asian Chamber has championed entrepreneurship, built meaningful connections and created opportunities for businesses to thrive. Our annual gala is a celebration of that legacy and a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together.

If you haven't purchased your tickets, I encourage you to do so today! I want to see our members, partners and friends come together for an unforgettable evening of recognition, celebration and connection. Your participation also helps support the important work of the Asian Chamber Foundation, including scholarships, education and economic opportunity.

And we're not slowing down after the gala! Our November 5–13 Shanghai Trade Mission will provide another exciting opportunity for businesses to expand their reach, establish international relationships and explore new markets.

As we approach the final months of 2026, I'm energized by what we've accomplished and even more excited about what's ahead.

I look forward to seeing you on October 24 as we celebrate excellence, honor achievement and recognize the people helping shape Houston's future.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the Asian Chamber.

Warm Regards,

Fan Chen

Board Chair, Asian Chamber of Commerce

From Houston to North Texas: Asian Chamber Expands Its Reach and Business Connections

While the Asian Chamber looks ahead to new opportunities in China, it continues to build valuable business connections closer to home. The Chamber recently completed a three-day trade mission to the Dallas/Fort Worth region, September 23–25, bringing together business leaders and economic development partners to explore new markets, strengthen relationships and open doors for future trade and investment.

During the visit, Chamber delegates connected with regional economic development leaders, participated in site visits and attended Taiwan Expo USA, engaging with exhibitors, business leaders and government representatives.

The mission included meetings with the McKinney Economic Development Corporation and Fort Worth Economic Development Corporation, as well as site visits throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. These activities provided valuable opportunities to explore potential partnerships, learn about regional economic initiatives and identify new avenues for business growth.

The North Texas trade mission reflects the Asian Chamber's ongoing commitment to connecting businesses with new markets, fostering strategic partnerships and expanding economic opportunities beyond the Greater Houston region.
