Crafting a Shared Community Vision for Future Development

Visioning Kickoff Meetings Next Week

The City of Two Rivers is launching a community-driven visioning process in the coming days to develop a shared community vision for what should be developed here.

City Hall wants to hear from you BEFORE any decisions are made on future site development.

The former Hamilton Industries site is one of the most important redevelopment opportunities Two Rivers will see in a generation. Because of its large size, central location, and important history, what happens on this property will shape downtown and surrounding neighborhoods for decades to come.

This site is simply too important to decide without broad community input.

Residents are invited to attend one of two Hamilton Property Community Visioning Kickoff Meetings next week. The sessions will introduce the overall process, explain how public input will guide future planning, and provide an open forum to share early thoughts, priorities, and aspirations for the site.

The first two kickoff meetings coming up next week are resident conversations, focused on ideas of all types...give us anything you’ve ever thought might be a good fit for this property. No concepts are off the table at this stage.

Two opportunities next week to participate:

Wednesday, February 4 at 5:30 PM

*Community House – Koska Room

Saturday, February 7 at 10:00 AM

*Community House – Koska Room

This is the starting point for shaping a shared community vision that will guide future redevelopment. If this site matters to you, this is the time to get involved.
