Welcome to OICMF Scherzo (skert·sō/ noun: a vigorous, light, or playful composition)
The monthly newsletter of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival
For this month's Scherzo, we'd like to hear from you!

We have created a brief, anonymous survey which you can access by clicking

Your thoughts truly count to us.

We appreciate your feedback as a Scherzo reader and an OICMF insider!

Thank you!

As a small thank you for taking our survey, we'd like to share a gift of music from our 26th Season, Ennio Morricone's beautiful "Gabriel's Oboe" from The Mission, performed by oboist Mary Lynch VanderKolk and OICMF strings on August 9, 2023.

We look forward to sharing more OICMF news and events with you — keep your eyes peeled for next month's Scherzo!
All the best,
