As the school year comes to an end, we would like to honor our 8th grade students with a drive through graduation parade!
This parade will be held on Friday, May 22nd at 8:30 AM.
Here are the directions.
• Arrive at school by 8:15 and park in the grass parking lot next to the band room. Feel
free to decorate your car and make it festive! Make sure your student’s name is visible
on a sign on your car as part of the decoration.
• Make sure that the graduating 8th grader is sitting in the front passenger seat of the
vehicle. If other family members are in the car, that is fine. If the student vehicle has a
moon-roof and you want to use that, this will be fine.
• A staff member will line you up and get you ready for the parade.
• You will drive slowly through the carline. We encourage other family and friends to park
in the senior parking area with signs, etc., and cheer or honk for the students as
they are driven through the line.
• The bagpiper will be playing in the parking lot as the students drive through.
• The students will be filmed as they are receiving their diplomas from Mr. Frescoln. The
8th Grade President, Lizzie Shurley, and Mr. Patterson will both be filmed ahead of
time giving an address. An edited graduation video will then be put together and we will share the link on Facebook, YouTube and our FA website so families and friends can watch the graduation at their leisure.

Our Elementary & Middle School Guidance Counselor, Susie Brewer and her husband, Bill, are about to begin his stem cell transplant journey.
They will be heading to Moffitt Cancer Center for his treatments on June 6th. They will be in Tampa for 100 days and incurring many out of pocket expenses for housing, insurance deductibles etc. Friends have set up a GoFundMe account on their behalf.
Please read their story HERE and keep them in your prayers as you consider making a donation via GoFundMe toward their expenses.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared this fundraiser on social media! God bless.
May 21st and May 22nd will be our turn in day for computers, textbooks etc. We will still be observing social distancing guidelines. Your student will only need to report to the blue picnic tables at their designated time. Elementary parents may go to their classrooms. Each high school student will be given a map to follow. This map will help us keep groups well under three students.
Please take this time to bring everything that must be turned in. We do not want to bill any accounts during this difficult stretch.
