Please accept our invitation to attend a comprehensive training program for the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (AMA Guides) 5th ed. with advance case studies.

In addition to the ABIME’s usual high quality AMA Guides training, at the conclusion of this Combined Meeting of AOA/RACS in Brisbane, Australia, ABIME is also offering a 4 hour long combined workshop (two for the price of one) on Function based Return to work approach as well as Scientific Causation Analysis.

The AMA Guides 5th edition training on Thursday, September 21, 2023, is specifically designed for doctors of all specialties, as well as psychiatrists, psychologists, internal medicine, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, lawyers and others who need to learn the methodology and Practical Use of the AMA5.

The Sunday, September 24, AMA5 Case Studies workshop is very useful for learning the Practical Use of AMA5 and would build upon previous days learning of AMA5 taking it to the next advanced level. This workshop will rapidly review the AMA5 methodology and then cover 10 case studies including MSK, psych and internal medicine cases that would enhance the skills beyond the initial training in the AMA5. Anyone who has attended a one or two day AMA5 training previously should consider attending this new and advanced Complex cases studies workshop as it would help them advance their skills in the use of AMA5.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced user of the AMA Guides, you will find this 3 day training very useful in enhancing your skills to perform a high quality, valid impairment rating using the AMA guides 5th Ed.
