a son is given and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
~Isaiah 9:6~
Dear Friends:
Merry Christmas! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and were able to truly celebrate the birth of our Savior and bask in his unconditional love and grace!
We had such a wonderful December at Agape House, full of Christmas celebration and cheer! We participated in the Let It Glow light show at the Elkhorn Fairgrounds, prepared a float and walked in the Elkhorn Christmas Parade, had a wonderful and successful Open House and Gift Market with derby races and Christmas parties too! We were so blessed this year with so many donors who adopted not only our teens, but both the Girls' and Boys' Homes as a whole as well. We could not be more grateful for each and every one of you for loving on our teens so well and showing them the love of Jesus this season!
Please join us in praising Him for:
~The teens that are starting to have more and more good days!
~The fact that event though healing hurts, God's presence is evident in the teens' healing process.
~ A mid-year break to rejuvenate and rest in the love of Christ.
Please also join us in prayer for:
~ The students and their families as they spend Christmas break at home- that they would hold to their progress and the growth of the past weeks and months.
~ The Lord to bring healing and peace to the hearts of all those that are struggling this Christmas.
~ The return of the teens after break, that much work can be done both spiritually and mentally through this 2nd half of the school year.
Blessings,
Christen
