CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Are you an engaging speaker with a strong idea? Your session could be the one attendees are still discussing on the flight home.

We are excited to open the Call for Proposals for the 2026 National Conference Learning Sessions, and we’re inviting passionate, knowledgeable leaders to help shape a dynamic and mission-aligned learning experience for this year’s conference.

Conference Focus & Format

As part of CAP’s three-year rotating mission focus, the National Conference each year will focus on six specific areas (one Mission and five related OPRs).

The 2026 National Conference spotlight will be on:

  • Cadet Programs
  • Safety
  • Health Services
  • Chaplains / Character Development Instructors
  • Inspector General
  • Judge Advocate

All conference learning sessions must align with at least one of these six focus areas and support the professional growth, readiness, and effectiveness of our members.

Types of Learning Sessions We Are Seeking

We are looking for proposals in one of these categories:

Adult or Adult/Cadet Sessions

These sessions are designed for either adults only, or mixed audiences of adults and cadets, and should focus on one of the following areas:

  • Cadet Programs
  • Safety
  • Health Services
  • Chaplains/CDI
  • Inspector General
  • Judge Advocate

Sessions may be instructional, discussion-based, or scenario-driven, and should offer practical takeaways participants can apply in their roles.

Cadet-Only Sessions

These sessions are exclusively for cadets and must be interactive, and engaging. Proposals in this category should focus on one of the following areas:

  • Leadership
  • Career Exploration
  • STEM
  • Aerospace

We are especially interested in sessions that actively involve cadets in learning through activities, problem-solving, or experiential approaches.
