Visa Account Updater (VAU) Disclosure
|
|
From time to time New Dimensions FCU will replace your debit card as it expires. When we replace a card, the number will remain the same, but its expiration date, and card verification value (CVV) security code will change.
If you provide your debit card information to merchants, subscription services, eCommerce merchants or others for the purpose of making recurring payments, the information that they have on file will not match the card account details for your new card once it is replaced. This may lead to disruption of your recurring payment services and interruption of the products/services you receive from your merchant(s).
In order to avoid these disruptions, VISA has implemented the VISA Account Updater Service through which New Dimensions FCU will provide your new debit card details to participating merchants automatically whenever your card is renewed. VAU provides the secure, electronic updating of your debit card account information with participating merchants, in a timely and efficient manner. You have the right to opt-out of this service.
If now or in the future you wish to opt-out of this service, please call us at (800) 326-6190 or stop in to one of our branches.

Nominating Committee and Election Procedures
|
|
As mandated in Article 5 of the New Dimensions Federal Credit Union Bylaws, a Nominating Committee has been appointed to nominate candidates for vacancies on the Board of Directors.
The nominating committee consists of the following credit union members:
- Gary Smith
- Paul Doucette
- Judith Smith
The terms of Leonel Breton, Lawrence Genest and Jeannine DeRosby will expire at the upcoming Annual Meeting. Breton, Genest and DeRosby have all expressed an interest to seek re-election. Therefore, the nominating committee has nominated Leonel Breton, Lawrence Genest and Jeannine DeRosby for re-election, and they have filed those nominations with the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
Members not nominated by the committee, who would like to run in the election, may be nominated by the membership through the submission of a petition signed by at least one percent of the membership*. Nominees must include a resume, statement of qualifications, biographical data, and a statement of willingness to serve as a director, addressed to the Nominating Committee, 94 Silver Street, Waterville, ME 04901.
Petitions and information must be received by noon on Friday, January 29, 2021 to be considered. There will be no nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting and members will vote at that time to elect directors.
*A petition would require 165 signatures to make up one percent of the membership as of October 31, 2020.

New Dimensions FCU planted an Elm tree in honor of Waterville's history!
|
|
On June 10, 2020, we planted an Elm tree on 94 Silver Street in honor of the city's history.
In the 1930s, both sides of Silver Street was shaded by Elm Trees. By the 1960s and 1970s, as Waterville began to develop, many trees were removed by construction, but once the Dutch Elm disease began its destruction on our beautiful Elm trees, the remaining trees were severely impacted and had to be removed completely.
In an effort to preserve our important history, we planted our Elm tree hoping to bring more Elm trees back to "Elm City," the name Waterville is well known for. Our hope is that others on Silver Street will plant an Elm tree or two and finally get back to our roots. Until then we will continue to nurture our tree for many years to come.
