Dear Friends,

It was great to see so many of our youth pumped up for a new year last weekend at Friday Night Attic Invasion, Sunday Morning Attic Hour, Acolyting, Youth Choir, and Sunday Night Live. It's clear we're in for an awesome year together!

It was also wonderful to see so many parents and other interested adults at the All Parish Forum: A Vision for Children and Youth. In case you missed it, you may listen to a recording and view the slides here .

I hope this Labor Day weekend offers a time of rest and renewal. If you are in town on Sunday, please consider joining in our Saints and Service Sandwich Build for all ages at 10:20 a.m. in Ellis Hall, where we will make hundreds of sandwiches for our friends at Midtown Assistance Center to share with our neighbors in need.

No Attic Hour or Youth Group Activities this weekend . Enjoy the time off, and I'll look forward to seeing everyone back together next week!
Peace,

The Rev. Zack Nyein

A Vision for Children and Youth
On Sunday, August 25, members of All Saints' Youth and Children's Task Force presented a plan for the growth and sustainability of our programs for young people over the course of the next several years. In case you missed it, a recording of the forum is available at the link below. We are so excited for what the future holds!
High School Happening Weekend
September 13 - 15
The next Happening Weekend will be September 13 - 15 at Camp Mikell. Happening is a retreat for high school students, by high school students, hosted by the Episcopal Churches in Middle and North Georgia and held at Camp Mikell in Toccoa. This youth-led weekend is spearheaded by a youth lay "rector" and a team of other high schoolers who facilitate small group conversations, deliver talks, and lead games and activities. We typically take a van or carpool from All Saints'. For more information, contact Joel at   jsmith@allsaintsatlanta.org . Deadline to Register September 1.
