Over the next five years, with the support of alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations, Georgia Tech can secure the resources that will help us achieve the most ambitious goals in our history.

The Georgia Tech campus will be closed Monday, June 20, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day, or "Juneteenth." Learn more about Juneteenth and how you can participate in events in Atlanta and on campus.

On June 1, Staff Council hosted Probate, Wills, and Financial Accounts as part of its quarterly Wellness Wednesday series. The virtual event provided an overview of how to navigate legal steps after losing a parent.

June is designated Pride Month for the LGBTQIA community to celebrate culture and community. Check out opportunities to engage with two Employee Resource Groups and the LGBTQIA Resource Center this month and in July.

June is also National Safety Month, an annual observance to highlight workplace safety. Staff Council will share safety awareness events sponsored by campus units throughout the month.

Did you know eligible Georgia Tech employees can apply for tuition assistance through two programs? The Tuition Assistance Program and the Staff Tuition Reimbursement Assistance Program provide a tuition waiver and partial tuition reimbursement. The registration period for Fall 2022 closes July 15.

Nominations for the 2022 Diversity Champion Awards are open through July 15. This year's awards will recognize campus members who have actively worked to advance a culture of inclusion and belonging among communities of historically underrepresented backgrounds at Georgia Tech.

The Georgia Tech Post Office, temporarily located in the Exhibition Hall, is moving to its new home in the John Lewis Student Center. In preparation for this move, please note the temporary closure dates below: 

• Retail services will shut down on Monday, June 27, at 5 p.m.

• Mail and package pickup will shut down on Tuesday, June 28, at 5 p.m. and will reopen in the John Lewis Student Center on Tuesday, July 5, at 8:30 a.m. Mail and package pickup will be unavailable during the temporary closure.
