$68M Apartment Complex Planned for Dale Mabry Hwy.

Plans filed with the City of Tampa identify the project as The Mabry Apartment Building at 211 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., on a full-block site between Dale Mabry and North Sterling Avenue. The existing Office Depot would be demolished. LeCesse Development Corporation is developing, with Baker Barrios as architect. Plans call for a seven-story apartment building with 320 units and an eight-story precast parking garage. MORE

March was Florida’s Bike Month!

The Westshore Alliance hosted two bike rides to celebrate Florida Bike Month in partnership with Pedal Power Promoters and Lime. With a combined total of 18 miles traveled, we showcased the beauty of the Westshore District through its public art, neighborhood greenways and trails, waterfront parks, and available bicycle facilities.

New mural at Tower Place

The Public Art Committee helped facilitate a new mural in collaboration with Highwood Properties. This beautiful mural was created by Gina Bernardini with Dreamt Up Mural Co. and symbolizes Old Florida motifs with a modern twist.

Save The Date! Earth Day Clean up at Cypress Point Park

The Alliance and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful will be hosting a park clean up for Earth Day at Cypress Point Park on Saturday, April 18^th at 9:00AM. To learn more about this event, please contact Caroline Seccombe, Manager of Transportation and Planning.

North West Shore Boulevard Roadway Project

Hillsborough County has completed 100% of the asphalt paving and about 90% of the concrete work on N. Westshore Blvd. With installations needed for signalization and the mid-block crossings, this project is anticipated to be complete by Summer 2026.
