A few thoughts from Kanuga Church Retreat:

-kids of different ages get to mingle and know each other.

-kids get time playing with adults in nature and dancing with everyone to new music.

-kids get time to try out some new faith practices.

-kids get to see each other, teens, young adults, and parents praying and singing and sharing with each other.

-adults get to do and see all of the above too!

It is one of the few times, we don't have screens in front of our faces or between us, we aren't running off to some other event in our tight schedule, and we pray, play, dance and sing with all the saints of every age group together.

If you weren't able to go this year, I hope you will consider going next year.  In the meantime, let's bring these lovely, spirit-filled moments to our block to nourish our souls and our All Saints' family. And with fullness of heart, we can turn out into the world and share God's light and blessings.

Pop-Up Love Shop

Oct. 9th, between services

Go directly to the front of church near the Welcome tent to work at the shop.

The children have been making symbols of love to hand out before the Pride Parade. They are learning about giving "love" without expecting anything in return (all items are free), that all people deserve to be treated with love and respect ( love your neighbor), and that we are all God's children! Stop by our shop and get some love!

You can join us as we walk in the Pride Parade by coming to the front of the church after the 11:15 service.

Undie Sunday

October 16th

Mark your calendars to buy a pack of underwear (any children's size) and bring to church on October 16th.  The formation classes will have a contest on who brings the most undies and then we will organize them by size to take to Threads.
