Vestry Corner:

Key Topics from the June 2024

Vestry Meeting

1) At our regular meeting this month, the Vestry approved several resolutions that will streamline check and account signing as well as fund transfers.

2) Vestry Members have 50/50 Raffle tickets for sale. Please see one if you want to get a ticket. Please see Mark or Sheila if you would like to sell some tickets to your family and friends. The drawing is on July 4!

3) There is a request for aid in the form of people to assist in opening/closing the church for rentals. There are several opportunities that we want to commit to, but need assistance. Is this ministry for you? Please see Jim Nichols if it is.

Minutes of the May 2024 meeting can be found HERE.

Join St. Alban’s online each Thursday evening from 7pm- 8pm for Prayer Meeting and Bible Study. St. Alban’s has encouraged the wider community to join us and many of the attendees come from different congregations locally as well as internationally.

This week, they will continue the study of the Book of Acts, Chapter 8, verses 26-40.

We invite people to testify if they are prayerfully led and also encourage them to send their prayer requests in advance if they wish. Some attendees come prepared from time to time to not only testify, but to give a word of encouragement.

Please see the Zoom invitation below.
