Lakeville Works was so excited to sponsor this event and we had so many people come out to see these mighty machines, and learn a little bit about the careers involved with each! We already have ideas for next year. Save the date – July 10, 2026!

Welcome Haylie!

The Chamber has a high school intern this summer – Haylie Bodsberg. Haylie is going to be a senior at Lakeville South and is helping us with all sorts of summer projects over here – including how to use technology! Here are a few fun facts about Haylie!....

What school do you attend and what are your future career or college goals?

Lakeville South High School; I would like to earn my college degree.

What made you interested in interning with the Lakeville Chamber?

Kim told me what the chamber does for the community, and it sounded like a very interesting job.

What’s something fun or surprising about you that most people wouldn’t guess?

I’ve worn my converse for 3.5 years straight and had 3 pairs.

What skills or experiences are you hoping to gain from this internship?

I want to gain the skills to work effectively in a professional environment.

If you could shadow any job for a day, what would it be and why?

I would like to job shadow a criminal forensic scientist because it is something that I am extremely interested in but hard to get into.

What’s your go-to favorite meal or snack—something you could eat every day? Favorite local restuarant?

My favorite go-to snack is pretzels, and my favorite local restaurant is Lakeville Brewing Company.

What’s a hobby or activity you really enjoy outside of school or work?

Outside of school and work I enjoy traveling.

This one will be cool!
