Grand River Agricultural Society Logo

20th Anniversary Partner Spotlight | Grand River Agricultural Society

Equine Guelph pays special recognition to our longtime partner, the Grand River Agricultural Society, providing important funding for Equine Guelph's programs: Equine JobTrack, Large Animal Emergency Rescue Training and Youth Programming. We salute Garth Green and the GRAS Board of Directors for championing investment into the equine industry to ensure a strong, viable future.

“There is such a natural fit between our organizations through Grand River Raceway, but it goes further with our commitment to youth and education. JobTrack, the Large Animal Emergency Rescue program (LAER), and the EquiMania! youth program, are all such vital programs, supporting the development of these aligns with our desire as an organization to improve accessibility and inspire innovation and leadership in the industry.” ~ Garth Green, President, Grand River Agricultural Society Board of Directors

EQUINE HEALTH

Do you run a riding lesson facility? We want to hear from you!

Researchers at the University of Guelph are inviting the owners, managers and head coaches of Canadian lesson barns to participate in a survey regarding management strategies and observed behaviours in riding lesson horses. The goal of this project is to gain a better understanding of the riding lesson industry in Canada and what strategies we can use to help our riding lesson horses thrive.

Take this 20-25 minute voluntary, anonymous survey.
