A Newsletter for Baystate Health Providers

February 2024

Your Input is Requested on a Two-question Mini-Z Burnout Question (MZBI) Survey

Baystate Health is taking a step forward in reducing burnout for physicians and advanced practice providers by applying for the American Medical Association’s Joy in Medicine™ recognition program. The results from the surveys will be aggregated and shared at upcoming divisional meetings. This framework will help Baystate inform interventions and activities aimed at reducing burnout.

“Representing the AMA's steadfast commitment to advancing the science of physician burnout, the AMA Joy in Medicine™ Health System Recognition Program empowers health systems to reduce burnout and build well-being so that physicians and their patients can thrive.”

You can help Baystate complete its application by taking the quick two-question burnout survey now. Survey closes Wednesday, February 28.

As a reminder, the following support is available for physicians and advanced practice providers.
