In March, Scouts with the "Gumbo Troop" 437 came together for their Spring Court of Honor, receiving hard-earned ranks, merit badges, and awards. They also made a special presentation to longtime leader, Alan Meekins, who was a member of our 2024 Class of Silver Beavers. Mr. Meekins' contributions to Scouting are significant, and he is deservedly cherished by his Scouting family. Read all about him! Way to go, Gumbo!

Heart of Virginia Council Master Plan
We invite you to visit our Heart of Virginia Council Master Plan page to learn more about where we've spent more than $950,550 to improve our Scout Reservation, and how we intend to continue making improvements in the years to come! These projects cannot be completed without the support of the units who participate in our annual fundraising (Popcorn & Peanuts, and Camp Cards) or our very generous donors! Thank you!
