Your Support is Their Success
An Early Learning Center Milestone

This graduation season we proudly celebrated a noteworthy milestone: the first Early Learning Center (ELC) alum to become a kindergarten graduate!

The ELC cares for children from ages 2 months to five years. Our highly experienced, trauma-informed team provides the safety, stability, and education that helps children develop the skills they need for kindergarten and beyond. Because of your generosity, this child has the foundation to thrive, and we know there will be many more graduates to come.

You Make Summer Moments Worth Sharing

Summer is a busy season for many families, including Stone House clients. Thanks to your support, they can still find time for connection and care. This year, with your generosity, our program staff are hosting a special summer series of weekly events that focus on fun and community. Activities include painting, games, and baking.

Yuri, our Supervisor of Community Programs and Immigrant Resources, explains,
"We want to inspire and build community all year round. Our summers we engage in fun activities, such as crafting a domestic violence poster for our awareness walk, making cakes, and painting. We lift each other by just being in space with great people."

Beyond these gatherings, clients continue to rely on our core services in their efforts to heal and rebuild. Earlier this month, program staff met specifically with some parents from our Early Learning Center (ELC) to give them more information about these services, reminding them that they are part of a wider community of support.

Thank you for making connection and safe spaces possible!

Thank you Hikers, Donors, and Believers in Healing!

Once again our Wilderness Heals community has shown up for survivors. For the 31st annual event, 37 hikers journeyed through the White Mountains July 17-19, with another 10 participants raising funds and awareness virtually.

Added generosity came from friends at Families Facing Addiction, who offered a generous $30,000 matching gift for Wilderness Heals. With plenty of time to spare, you helped us meet that match and together,
we've raised over $167,000 toward our $200,000 goal, with participants continuing to fundraise through September.

Miles and miles of thanks to our Alpine Sponsors MFS Investment Management MFS Foundation and United Way Massachusetts Bay, Wilderness Sponsor Natixis Investment Managers and other event sponsors.
